The Rain Bird 8005 is a heavy-duty long-range rotor designed for large lawns, sports fields, parks and golf areas. Its water-lubricated gear drive and non-strippable mechanism withstand vandalism and tough conditions, while the interchangeable Rain Curtain nozzles give even distribution from close-in to the maximum throw distance. It reaches an 11.9–24.7 m radius at 3.5–6.9 bar with a flow of 0.86–8.24 m³/h, and a Seal-A-Matic check device prevents low-head drainage. Please note: the 1" female inlet requires a matching fitting. A premium choice for large-area watering. Front-loading nozzles can be changed without tools, so one rotor adapts to many layouts. Reserve it for projects with sufficient pressure and flow, and size the supply pipe accordingly.
