The Rain Bird ESP-9V DVF kit brings together everything you need to automate a single irrigation line without mains power: a 1-station ESP-9V battery-powered controller and a 100-DVF valve with a 1" (25 mm) female BSP thread and built-in flow control, with the 9 V DC latching solenoid already fitted. The controller runs on one or two 9 V alkaline batteries, around one year with one battery and two years or more with two. Programming is straightforward, with 6 start times, four watering-day options (custom days of the week, cyclic from 1 to 30 days, odd or even dates), run times from 1 to 240 minutes in one-minute steps and seasonal adjustment from 10% to 200%. The large LCD and manual watering button make setup quick, and the IP68 case is protected against dust and water. The DVF valve lets you fine-tune flow with its pressure-assisted flow control handle. A neat, ready-to-use solution (just add the batteries, not included) for isolated beds, hedges, planters and remote garden zones.
