Rain Bird K80920 Latching Solenoid

The Rain Bird K80920 is a 9 V potted latching solenoid that connects a valve to a battery-operated controller. Because it is a latching (pulse) solenoid, it only needs a short electrical pulse to open or close the valve, which is what makes battery-powered irrigation possible. It is the right part to replace a faulty 9 V solenoid or to convert a Rain Bird valve to battery operation. It fits Rain Bird DV, JTV, PGA, PEB and BPE series valves (Rain Bird also lists PESB and BPES, among others), and works with battery-operated controllers such as the TBOS, TBOS-II, TBOS-BT, ESP-9V and WPX series. The coil is potted for protection in valve boxes. The K80920 is supplied as a single solenoid; the valve, controller and batteries are not included. Check that your valve is one of the listed series before ordering.
