Rain Bird RSD-BEx Rain Sensor

The Rain Bird RSD-BEx is a wired rain sensor that stops your automatic irrigation as soon as enough rain has fallen, saving water and protecting your plants from overwatering. Install it in an open spot, away from roof overhangs and trees, and wire it to the sensor terminals of your controller or in series with the valve common wire. A simple dial lets you choose how much rain triggers the shutdown, from 5 to 20 mm (1/8" to 3/4"). It is suitable for 24 V AC residential and commercial control circuits, with a switch rated 3 A at 125/250 V AC, and can handle up to ten 24 V AC, 7 VA solenoid valves per station plus one master valve. The sensor is supplied with a 7.6 m UV-resistant 2-conductor extension cable and an aluminium latching mounting bracket. CE approved. A small accessory that makes any automatic system smarter.
